Welcome to Things That Make You Smile...
My love for early antiques and dolls provide the inspiration for my creations. My dolls are made from vintage and reproduction fabrics that go through an additional "aging" process. All of my dolls are stuffed with 100% cotton wool,or scraps of fabrics, and some are weighted with clean sand. Many of the trims come from vintage petticoats, old button collections and antique ribbons and laces.
Each doll is a unique and wonderful creation, therefore fabrics and trims will vary from one doll to the next.
In addition to my dolls, I have also created a line of patterns. These are meant to assist those who share in my great desire to create.
Please enjoy your visit and feel free to email me with any questions or possible requests. I would be happy to add you to my email list so that you will be among the first to know of any updates and new creations!!
